Dr. Luis E. Chávez de Paz is currently working  in Endodontic Department at the University of Connecticut Health Center.

He obtained his DDS degree in Lima, Perú and Master of Sciences and PhD in Gothenburg, Sweden. He worked as post-doc and a researcher in the Department of ​Oral Biology, Malmö University, Sweden.

His research interest concerns various aspects of biofilm biology and endodontic microbiology.
